Service manual
Please read the manual to learn how to use the service features. If, some topic isn't clear or properly covered here, please contact the service administrator and report it.
User account and profile
Creation
The account creation process is needed to create the personal profile of the user. You can choose what kind of account you want to create:
- Translator
- Developer
Log in
The log in panel is used to allow the user to log in to the service. A valid member e-mail and password have to be provided in order to log in.
Log out
The log out function is used to log out from the servie. Please use it when you finish working with the service.
Account confirmation
The account confirmation is a process needed to confirm if the user who registered a personal account in the service is really the owner of the e-mail address provided in the registration process. The service sends an e-mail message with confirmation code / link. If the code is submitted to the service and is valid, the acount gets confirmed and enabled. Unconfirmed account cannot be user by the user.
Password retrieval
The password retrieval function is to be used when the user forgets his access password. The service sends the e-mail message with new generated password to the provided member e-mail address. The user's responsibility is to change the provided randomly generated password to the one of his preference after logging in.
Updating profile
Every service member can update his profile data at any time. The service allows the user to modify his e-mail address, name and other details.
Community
Messages
All service members can communicate with each other by means of integrated messaging service. Users can send and receive messages, mark them as important and delete.
Friends
Members of the service can create relationships with other members. Adding another member as a friend create a relationship between members. This relationship is used to create a friend network and allow easier communication between members.
News & Blog
Service members can comment to news and blog articles bublished in the service.
Software translator
Translation management
Software translators can manage translation profiles. The user can add and update translation profiles. There can be only one translation profile per software title.
Localization management
Software translator can manage software localization projects. In a single translation profile there can be as much language versions as the number of supported languages in the system. Languages can be edited, updated, published and the users can trach the localization progress by observing the statistics.
Localization editor
Localization editor is a tool which enables the translators to edit software localizations - language versions. The editor displays 2 language versions of selected software: original language (English) and the new language. The user can translate the text strings and save the progress. The editor features options which are helpful during the translation process. There are two working modes of the localization editor:
- Classic
- Modern
The difference is in the method the editor operates. The modern editor features quick saving and quick loading capabilities and the edition can be performed without page reloading.
Software developer
Software management
Software developers can add and update software profiles. Software profile has to be accepted by the administrator before it can be published in the service.

Unicode fonts
Several language scripts in the system are not natively supported by unicode set. Please download and install the following fonts to display those languages properly in the browser.

Developer management
The developer management panel allows the user to manage external developer profiles. The profiles can be added and updated.
Categories management
Categories management panel allows the user to manage software categories which exist in the system. They can be created, modified, published and unpublished.
